Histemo is a premium hair care brand offering salon-quality treatments, growth serums, and styling products for consumers who take their hair seriously. The brand is built around clinically informed formulations that deliver professional-grade results at home — positioned between the mass market and the specialist clinic, and designed for customers who've outgrown drugstore solutions without wanting to book a salon appointment every week.
The Challenge
The premium hair care category is scepticism-heavy. Customers have been burned by overpromising products before, and ingredient claims without clinical backing get tuned out quickly. Histemo had strong formulations and real results, but the store wasn't doing enough to prove it — the ingredient story was buried, before-and-after proof was underutilised, and the product routine narrative that drives repeat purchase wasn't being communicated effectively.
Our Approach
We rebuilt the store around proof and results. Product pages were redesigned to lead with key active ingredients, what they do at a clinical level, and what customers can realistically expect from consistent use. Before-and-after photography and customer outcome reviews were elevated to primary conversion content rather than social proof afterthoughts.
The routine narrative was built into the store architecture — guiding customers toward a complete hair care system rather than individual products, driving both AOV and long-term retention. Subscription was positioned as the logical default for the routine-committed customer. Mobile was fully optimised throughout.
