Omari Jewelry is a fine jewellery brand designing and crafting gold and gemstone pieces inspired by African heritage, symbolism, and material culture. Each collection is rooted in a specific cultural or historical reference, and every piece is made to carry meaning — not just as an aesthetic object, but as something with a story worth telling. The brand serves a customer who wants their jewellery to say something about who they are and where they come from.
The Challenge
Fine jewellery is one of the most considered purchases in all of eCommerce. The price point, the emotional weight of the purchase, and the inability to physically inspect the piece before buying all combine to create a high-friction buying environment. The store needed to make the cultural story of each piece as tangible as the physical craftsmanship — and to give customers the trust, the detail, and the emotional connection they need to buy with confidence.
Our Approach
We rebuilt the store around story first, product second. Each collection page was given editorial depth — the cultural reference point, the materials chosen, the design intention — before presenting individual pieces. Product pages were redesigned with full material specifications, scale photography for size reference, and the specific story behind each design at the top of the page.
Custom and bespoke commission pathways were made visible and accessible, capturing the high-value segment of buyers who want something made for them. Trust signals — hallmarking, material certification, production transparency — were elevated throughout. Gifting flows were developed for the significant occasion buyer. Mobile was fully optimised.
